Handmade Bag, by ME!

The bags shown bellow are some I made in my free time!
The bag is made out of colorful yarn.
It took a while to make,
and a LOT OF PATIENCE,
but I got it.
After messing up so many times,
I got a beautiful bag I can use for,
a present or even for "my self."

Field Day

Last Wednesday was the fifth grade field day. It was awsome. We played tenni-ball which is a game that is a mixture of baseball and tennis. Next we played Starwars. It is like dodge ball, but you can't throw, you have to roll the ball. Next we played 4's square. It's kinda like pingpong, but you have to use your hand on a bounsy ball and it's limeted up to 4 people at a time. Finally, we ate pizza, and sighned eachothers memory books. After that we at small relay races like soc-hop, and bobbing apple. It was so much fun.

Talent show 2010

Last week I joined the J.W killam talent show with my friends. I was in the Red shirt doing the devil sticks. My other friend Maddi was doing devil sticks too. Margaret and Becka were juggling, and Anson and Yanni were doing the chinese yoyo. It was a lot of fun. We messed up a few times but it was good that we messed up all together. I can't wait for next years talent show.

School Christmas Party

How many people this year had a Christmas party at their school? Mine was fun. First, we did a small play in groups. Our group was doing the play Zathura. I think the movie came out in 2001. Next we watched the movie WALLIE for Science. After that we had the same usual everyday lunch usual with a few games. Finally we had our gift swap. We had to bring a school suply gift wrapped up and and someone randomly would come pick one. I picked a box full of twistables and pencils. That was fun! How was yours?

Happy Diwali!

Today is Diwali!
For some people who do know what Diwali is Happy Diwali! For the people who don't know Happy Diwali to. Diwali is what we called the festival of lights. It is usually celebrated in the month of Kartik. Diwali is many peoples favorite holiday. We have sweets, get new clothing, and we get to fire crackers outside your house. Diwali lasts for 5 days. The word Diwali means "''row of lighted lamps".

Global Warming

Global Warming is when the earths average temperature increases. Especially a sustained increase sufficient enough to cause climate change. When the climate changes, many animal and plant species can be harmed.
Few ways to help:
1) Try to drive less. Car pool, walk or bike to places if possible.

2) Try using nontoxic cleaning products if possible.

3) Don't litter.

4) Try planting or growing plants and trees.

Small things like this can make a big difference.

Go ahead try these things. Be a planet saver.

geniuses?

Some kids are smart and some kids are super smart.
There are some kids who who can understand things just like adults. Scientists who study brains call these kids "prodigies" or "child prodigies" we usually call them whiz kids. If you know someone who is 10 years old or younger, and has similar skills as an adult, they are a "prodigies". A lot of people don't know what "prodigy" means because we usually call them "Whiz kids" which is not a mean way to call someone. So if you're a person who understands a subject or two just like an adult you're a "prodigy".

Since I also like painting and drawing, when I 'm bored, I go on the computer and paint just like I did on this picture.
